AFT's Training Programs and Courses: Empowering Farmers for Success
Self-paced learning:
- AFT Mobile App: Access real-time information, market prices, weather updates, best practices, educational content, and short training modules.
- Educational Content Library: Explore a comprehensive library of materials (videos, audio recordings, and documents) on various agricultural topics.
Interactive learning:
- Farmer Field Schools: Participate in 3-6 month programs with weekly sessions held in farmers' fields for hands-on learning and experimentation. Topics include climate-smart agriculture, pest management, soil health management, post-harvest handling, and marketing.
- Workshops and Seminars: Attend 1-3 day intensive training sessions led by experts, featuring interactive sessions with lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities. Topics include finance, marketing, gender equality, climate-smart agriculture, processing, and cooperatives.
